Description: Park planning areas are geographic boundaries in unincorporated Los Angeles County as defined by the Department of Parks and Recreation. These boundaries are used to assist in calculating fees associated with subdivisions to satisfy a subdivider’s obligations to provide park land, or open space in accordance with Los Angeles County Code, Title 21, Section 21.28.140.
